Concensus Connect – FAQ’s

ARE YOU DROPPING SUPPORT FOR NOVELL/NETIQ/MICRO FOCUS PRODUCTS?

Concensus is a Gold partner with Micro Focus and will be for a very long time. We are always looking to deepen our involvement with the Micro Focus team and their customers. 2019 has shown a 20% growth in our Micro Focus revenue.

WHAT IS CONCENSUS CONNECT?

Concensus Connect is the brand name for Concensus-developed and OEM’d software. In 2009, Concensus entered into an agreement with Novell to OEM Identity Manager standard edition Engine as well as their developed drivers. We have decided to end the agreement with Micro Focus. 

As of 1/1/2020, we are no longer sell or renew the following items:

• Concensus Connect – Basic Engine
• Concensus Connect – DataBase Driver
• Concensus Connect – O365 Driver

We are offering customers the following options for the above items:

• Switch to a Micro Focus contract (Pricing is available upon request) – This would be a paper license switch once the contract with Micro Focus is completed. There is no technical work to perform.
• We have pricing and services options for switching to Identity Automation’s RapidIDentity platform.
• We can work with you on an alternative solution. 

We are continuing our development of our own Micro Focus Identity Manager Drivers:

• Concensus Connect – G-Suite Driver (Formerly Google Apps Driver)
• Concensus Connect – Delimited Text Driver for ACAD
• Concensus Connect – Everbridge Campus Notification Driver
• Concensus Connect – Ellucian Banner Driver
• Concensus Connect – Canvas Driver

WILL MY CONCENSUS CONNECT LICENSE EXPIRES ON JANUARY 1ST, 2020?

No. Your license will not expire on January 1st. Your license to run the software continues throughout your term. Concensus Connect is a subscription, so you must either renew (with a Micro Focus purchase) or shut down the software on your termination date. You may not continue to run the software after your termination date. Also, your support will continue through the termination date.
